HASTELLOY® C276 - Alloy C 276 - 2.4819 is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy commonly considered a highly versatile corrosion-resistant alloy. Hastelloy® C276 - Alloy C276 has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion at both high and low temperatures in both oxidizing and reducing environments. This alloy is highly resistant to many aggressive media, including hot contaminated mineral acids and media containing ferric and cuprochlorides.
In the chemical industry, Hastelloy® C276 - Alloy C 276 is widely used in applications such as heat exchangers, valves, pipeline linings, and mixers in hot contaminated organic or inorganic environments.
