Hastelloy® C22 - Alloy C 22 (UNS N06022 - 2.4602) exhibits excellent resistance to both oxidation and reducing acidic environments, as well as environments with mixed acids, due to its contents of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and controlled iron. Hastelloy® C22 is particularly valuable for its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in acid/halide environments. Applications include chemical processing, pollution control, desulfurization of flue gases, waste incineration, and pulp and paper processing industries.
