HASTELLOY® C4 - Alloy C4 - 2.4610 is a Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with high corrosion resistance, even at high temperatures. Hastelloy® C4 - Alloy C4 - 2.4610 exhibits exceptional thermal stability as demonstrated by high ductility and corrosion resistance, even after prolonged annealing at temperatures between 650 and 1040°C. Due to its development in collaboration with the German industry, Alloy C-4 is particularly popular in Germany. The more modern HASTELLOY® Alloy C22 is gradually replacing Alloy C-4.
HASTELLOY® C4 - Alloy C4 offers high resistance to a range of chemical process environments, including hot contaminated mineral acids, solvents, chloride-contaminated organic and inorganic media, seawater, and salt solutions.
